The MedMCQA dataset is a resource for Multiple-Choice Question Answering (MCQA) in the medical domain, designed to tackle real-world medical entrance exam questions. It boasts over 194,000 questions from AIIMS & NEET PG exams, covering a broad spectrum of 2.4k healthcare topics across 21 medical subjects. Each entry in this English-language dataset includes a question, correct and incorrect answers, detailed explanations, testing knowledge, and reasoning abilities. MedMCQA is an open-source tool for developing and evaluating AI models in medical education and knowledge assessment, primarily aimed at the natural language processing community.
