Autism
Autism is a complex developmental condition characterized by challenges with social interaction and communication and restricted or repetitive behaviors and interests. Autism’s symptoms can range from mild to severe and are often accompanied by unique strengths and differences—some individuals with Autism excel in visual skills, music, math, and art. The exact etiology of autism is not fully understood. Research studies suggests that both genetics and environmental factors contribute to its etiology. Early diagnosis and tailored interventions can significantly improve outcomes for individuals with autism. There’s a growing awareness and acceptance of autism, emphasizing the importance of understanding and accommodating neurodiversity in society.
