Magentiq Eye Automatic Polyp Detection System
The Magentiq Eye’s Automatic Polyp Detection System (ME-APDS) is a computer-aided detection system used during video colonoscopy procedures to assist endoscopists in identifying lesions like polyps. It processes video frames in real-time, highlighting suspicious areas without altering the video stream.
ME-APDS uses a Computer-Aided Polyp Detection (CADe) engine and Deep Neural Networks (DNN) for real-time lesion detection.
Indications
The system is designed to highlight potential mucosal abnormalities such as polyps during colonoscopy. It is not a diagnostic tool nor a replacement for histopathological sampling. It is limited to use with standard white-light endoscopy imaging.
This AI device was developed by Magentiq Eye Ltd. and received FDA pre-market approval notification on 7/25/2023.
